Dick-ass Invisible Stalker
___________________________________________________________________________________________
Perception (No DC): this is a field of waist-high, unkempt grass on either side of the road. A-durr.
___________________________________________________________________________________________

This is the realm of an Invisible Stalker which has been bound by ancient accord to never willingly harm a sentient being. Unfortunately, it’s Chaotic Evil, which means that it swiftly found that stealing does not technically count as “physically harming,” although losing an important weapon can kill by proxy.

Suffice to say, this is a long, straight road that is flanked on either side by tall, dense grass, so the Invisible Stalker, now known only as “the Dick-Ass Invisible Stalker” has found a perfect habitat. Its tactics consist entirely of shadowing the least aware-looking PC and sleight-of-hand stealing everything it can get its hands on, starting with small magic items then moving to survival supplies and food. In combat, when spotted, it uses greater steal on its opponents’ weapons and then hightails it into the grass. When it breaks contact, it buries everything in randomized places throughout the field. It takes its time; it has all the time in the world.

The Dick-Ass Invisible Stalker
Use the Advanced Invisible Stalker, but switch out Weapon Focus (slam) for Skill Focus (Sleight of Hand, making it +16), Improved Initiative for Combat Expertise, Combat Reflexes for Improved Steal, and Lightning Reflexes for Greater Steal (look up this one!): https://sites.google.com/site/pathfinderogc/bestiary/monster-listings/outsiders/elemental/invisible-stalker/invisible-stalker-advanced

Also, it’s wearing boots of striding and springing, so its move speed is 40. Good luck! The invisible stalker flies straight up when it hits 50 hit points, running off to fight another day.

Loot that can only be found on a use of detect magic, then a DC 20 survival, then a DC 15 perception

The stalker’s boots, but only if they kill it.
